CloudDrive2 Privacy Policy

CloudDrive2 Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how IHJUU CloudDrive Connector handles information when an authorized user connects a Google Drive account to the user’s own local CloudDrive2 installation.

Information accessed

With the user’s explicit OAuth consent, the application may access Google Drive file and folder metadata and file contents. The requested Google Drive permission can allow the local client to view, download, create, upload, organize, rename, update, and delete files and folders. These actions occur only when initiated or configured by the authorized user.

How information is used

  • To display the user’s Google Drive folders and files in the local CloudDrive2 interface.
  • To perform file operations requested by the user, including upload, download, creation, organization, update, rename, and deletion.
  • To maintain the authorized connection until the user disconnects or revokes access.

Storage and retention

OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and CloudDrive2 configuration are stored in the user’s local CloudDrive2 environment under the user’s control. This public website does not receive or store Google OAuth tokens, Google Drive files, or Google account data. Local authorization data remains until the user removes the connection, deletes the local configuration, or revokes access.

Sharing and disclosure

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with unrelated third parties. Data is transmitted only between the user’s local CloudDrive2 client and Google APIs as necessary to perform operations requested by the user, except when disclosure is required by applicable law.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security

Users are responsible for securing the computer and local CloudDrive2 installation where authorization data is stored. The public website is provided over HTTPS and is informational only.

User choices and revocation

The user can disconnect Google Drive from CloudDrive2, delete the local connection, or revoke the application’s access from the Google Account permissions page at any time. Revocation prevents future API access using that authorization.

Children

This personal connector is not directed to children and is not intended to collect children’s personal information.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the application’s data practices change. Material changes will be posted on this page. Questions may be sent to [email protected].
